What to Expect.
Simply put, I support people in getting in touch with what exists behind the noise of limiting beliefs, stuck patterns, and daily life - our true selves.
Individual therapy is tailored to each person, but is always holistic and experiential. Many clients find me after realizing traditional talk therapy was not helping as much as they hoped. In sessions, I act as a guide and additional layer of support. Pointing you and your nervous system to a place of awareness and rest, where stuck patterns begin to unwind.
While everyone’s experience of therapy is unique, we could say we generally will move through three phases that unfold at their own pace:
1. Foundation - here we will see how the challenges and goals you bring to therapy are viewed in a somatic, body-based way and begin to build awareness around the particular patterns that show up. We will also begin to build your felt sense of resource and safety in the body that we can return to again and again.
2. Exploration- Next, we will move, feel, discuss, express, notice, and nurture your growth edge as it shows up through limiting beliefs in the mind and limiting shapes in the body. This is where the creativity come in and where we will shape sessions to meet what arises in the moment, and build tools and practices to start using at home. With enough presence and support, your mind and body’s inclination towards healing will start to unravel these patterns and return you back to our natural state of health and wellbeing.
3. Integration - lastly, we begin to see signs that the work is having an impact outside of sessions in everyday life. The tools and resources you’ve built and made your own provide the ground for positive change and you may have new clarity on the ways you’ve been keeping yourself stuck. But challenges both new and familiar seem more workable and you trust in yourself to see the way through. The goal of any therapeutic relationship is to no longer need therapy!
The Fine Print.
Sessions are $150 and last one hour.
Although in person sessions are preferrable, sessions are available both in person and virtually through telehealth in the state of Colorado.
Cancellations require 24 hours notice to avoid incurring the full session fee.
Payment can be made by credit card (including HSA's) and cash transfer apps like Venmo. I currently accept Kaiser and United Healthcare insurance.
If you are experiencing financial hardship and/or the full fee is unattainable for you, please let me know as a siding scale fee can be available on a case-by-case basis.

Somatic Psychotherapy
The basic premise of somatic pyschotherapy is that everything that happens in the mind has a correlating process in the body. Over the course of our lives as we move and adapt to the world around us, we create shapes and strategies to manage our experience. These shapes were necessary in the moment, but now may get in the way of our full and free expression
Somatic therapy supports us in opening, awakening, and melting these frozen emotional and conceptual energies to free us from our habitual thoughts and emotional patterns of reactivity that usually structure our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us. In this way we can return to our natural state health and wellbeing.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a healing practice that focuses on the subtle movements and rhythms of the craniosacral system to facilitate the body's natural healing processes. This gentle, sensitive form of a hands-on approach to health evolved from the work of doctors of osteopathic medicine. The use of light and still touch supports health in the nervous system which in turn allows the entire system to find greater ease. The process can address a wide range of physical and emotional issues by identifying and releasing restrictions in the body and the craniosacral system. Through attuned touch and holds, we will open into the inherent health and vitality within your system, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for the body and emotions to self-regulate and heal.
